Please download this free software here Clinical Lab Scientist Full Time Graveyard Shift Performs all laboratory tests necessary for diagnosis and treatment of patients at the request of attending physician(s). Is responsible for reporting results, which are accurate as substantiated by the use of appropriate controls. Performs and demonstrates proficiency testing and understands the routine procedures for all areas of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision. Maintains all instrumentation as scheduled and participates in QA process. Responds to critical results by notifying caregivers. Understands and adheres to safety, regulatory and compliance mandates. QUALIFICATIONS : Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist License from CA DHS LFS Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory or related science 1 year of hospital clinical training 2+ years as a CLS Generalist work experience Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule Working knowledge of hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and blood bank Strong verbal and written communication skills Any combination of qualifying education and/or experience that matches the above listed qualifications Reports To: Laboratory Manager Employment Application Health Information Technician Full Time Under the supervision of the Heath Information Manager, the Health Information Technician wide variety of functions relating to the Health Information Department. Those duties include answering inquiries, scanning medical records, preparing and processing patient records, reception, correspondence, processing information release inquiries and copy requests, pulling ER charts for Physician review and other special projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS : High School diploma, or equivalent Certification in Health Information Management 2+ years of health information department, medical office, acute care hospital or other health care setting experience highly preferred 4+ years of clerical experience Strong communication and customer service skills Typing: 30-40 wpm Ability to handle discreet and confidential information in an appropriate manner Strong computer and software skills Professional attitude and appearance Ability to obtain appropriate physician signatures within the medical record for completion of charts Ability to complete ER Physician Reviews – Pulls records for physicians’ reviews (for both ER Physician Reviews and ER Peer Review) Ability to run Quality Review Report Ability to Assemble records (both ER and In Patient) for scanning in the Electronic Health Record Ability to conduct In Patient Audit Ability to Help with monthly statistical report Release of information knowledge and skills Any combination of qualifying experience and/or training that matches above listed qualifications Reports to: Health Information Manager Employment Application LVN Coordinator – Rural Health Clinic Part-Time/Per diem Fridays and Saturdays – 10 hours shifts This position is for a brand new Rural Health Clinic at Coalinga Regional Medical Center. The LVN Coordinator is a member of the nursing team who functions under the direction, guidance and supervision of the Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, or Rural Health Clinic Medical Director. The LVN Coordinator, with guidance, assists in providing and evaluating nursing care for patients and in coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines. The LVN Coordinator may have oversight of the nursing schedule as well as supervision of the Medical Assistant and Receptionist. The LVN Coordinator actively participates in the Quality Improvement activities. The incumbent will take vital signs; collect data such as height and weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration. Under direction, the LVN Coordinator may perform procedures, treatments or tests. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing appropriate instructions to patients/families. The Pharmacy Tech also replenishes floor stock supplies, assists in inventory control, maintains records, prepares patient charges and maintains established department policies. May also perform a variety of routine tasks in the Pharmacy.
